While driving through Camden it is very common
to see little puppies foraging for food and
 water.
They really belong to no one and have somehow
managed to eek out a life on these unforgiving
streets. NJAFA while on a trip to Camden to
pick up animals for altering, saw this little
guy loping along the street searching in
garbage cans.
We scooped him up and took him to wait at the
shelter for seven days. No one of course
claimed him but because he was so gangly and
goofy we named him "Norton" like the character
in the old "Honeymooners" series.
"Snortie" got adopted to a very loving family
in Jersey City. This is a picture of one of
their children. Who says pitties are
dangerous? Couldn't prove it by this picture! |
